Additional Costs

Additionally, all heroes will need to have their own laptop (provided by the family, not Forge).  Considerations for the laptop should be weight, storage, and graphics.  Many of the projects have a lot of creative options that may be limited without access to a digital media creation capable computer.  Windows will have the best compatibility with some of the programs used but Apple or Chrome is also sufficient for 95% of activities.

Most other supplies are covered by the tuition.

Yes, because of the quest based schedule we can integrate students at the beginning of a quest just about any time of year.

Yes, after the first payment we can set you up on automatic recurring draft payments.

Yes but there is a 3% service fee.  You can pay with ACH direct debit from your bank account for free.

You will finish your payment for the final month the learner was enrolled (not-prorated).  You would not get back the registration fee and or any payments that had been made for months which your learner was enrolled.  You will not be responsible for the tuition amount for the remainder of the year.

Middle-aged students who have met certain badge requirements proving their readiness will have access to middle school quests, while sharing the studio with younger explorers.

We are accepting applications for our “Spark studio” for 5-7.5 yr olds (approximately k-2nd grade) for the 2024-2025 schoolyear.

There will be an annual increase in tuition in order to support the growth of the school.  Returning families will have an increase, though it will be lower than the tuition for newly incoming families.

$350 on the low end and $500 average.  The more you spend the longer it will last.

We are not trained to serve children with serious learning disabilities but may be able to serve young heroes with dyslexia if they receive outside support.

Not currently.  But we hope to build this into the future.  In the meantime, you can apply for private scholarships here. https://csforegon.org/schools/
